The Christmas food and toy appeal proves a great success

A social-action appeal was organised at our Fuenmayor factory during the month of December, receiving an excellent response from all our colleagues. Containers were placed at the entrances of the factory and offices, where employees could donate food and toys.

Non-perishable foodstuffs (vegetables, tinned food, oil, etc.) and packaged baby food (powdered milk, jars of purée, jars of baby food‎, etc.), as well as toys, stuffed animals, and more could be donated.

The success of the campaign exceeded all expectations and the toys were delivered to three Diagrama Foundation centres: La Cometa and Iregua Protection Centres and La Cometa Day Centre. This campaign gave 40 children from marginalised families the opportunity to receive a present on the Three Kings' Day.

Congratulations to all our colleagues, whose generosity in donating toys and food contributed to making many families happier. Garnica is proud to promote this type of charity appeal as part of our policy to grow in a responsible way and support the society in which we operate.
