Garnica funds another year of grants for Master’s students at the University of La Rioja

On Wednesday 8 March, José Luis Tamargo, Chief People & Compliance Officer at Garnica, and Juan Carlos Ayala, Dean of the University of La Rioja, awarded 12 students a grant to complete their master’s studies within the School of Master and Doctoral Studies of the University of La Rioja (EMYDUR) in the 2022–2023 academic year.
Of the twelve beneficiaries receiving the Garnica grants, four are enrolled in the Master’s in Industrial Engineering and the Master’s in Business Administration, three in the Master’s in Chemistry and Biotechnology, and one in the Master’s in Data Science and Machine Learning.
The recipients have the opportunity to take part in the Garnica Work Placement Programme, which involves going through the selection process if they pass the necessary number of credits, as well as completing placements at any of our company’s work centres in Spain or France.
Garnica is funding this programme for the eighth consecutive year. Since the first grants were awarded in the 2016–2017 academic year, a total of 68 students have benefited from this financial support. The grants are awarded to students who have previously completed their undergraduate studies at the University of La Rioja and are continuing their education within the School of Master and Doctoral Studies.
