Two pairs of Garnica workers took part in the 9th Logroño Rotary Club Padel Tournament

The 9th Logroño Rotary Club Padel Tournament was held over the weekend of 8 and 9 October, in aid of Futurioja – Plena Inclusión, and featured four of our company's own workers.

They may not have come away with a prize, but both pairs of Garnica workers were shining examples of the healthy living ethos and community spirit we encourage as a company. The financial outcome of this new edition of the tournament was fantastic, improving on last year’s fundraising total, with a cheque for the sum of €10,200 presented to Futurioja – Plena Inclusión in October.

The standard of competition was very high, and our colleagues did our company proud, enjoying each match and demonstrating that, as well as helping to reduce work-related stress, sport can also be a powerful force for good.

At Garnica, we are grateful to all participants and partners for their amazing support and involvement in this worthy project, and we congratulate the tournament’s winners and runners-up. We’ll meet again at the 10th Logroño Rotary Club Padel Tournament in 2023.
