We are promoting sports in our community by supporting the Rioja Sports Foundation

Garnica is one of the driving forces behind the Rioja Sports Foundation, a public institution created in 2004 that is part of the Government of La Rioja with the goal of promoting the development of sports in the community.

The Foundation, by means of the Plan to Promote Riojan Sports, offers various sports training programs, provides scholarships to high performance athletes, advances and supports school games, financially advises and assists sports federations and clubs, organizes events, provides medical check-ups for athletes, and ultimately promotes sports activity in the Riojan community.

This collaboration is in line with Garnica’s commitment to contribute to the social and economic development of the communities where it is present—such as La Rioja, the province where our home office is located and in which we have three production centers.

Moreover, in the realm of promoting health and sports, our company has started the Garnica Health project to promote healthy lifestyle habits among members of the organization. This program includes a variety of initiatives to promote participation in sports, provide education on balanced nutrition, take advantage of breaks for disconnecting from work, and care for the physical and mental health of our workforce.
