Students of the Master's Degree in Structures, Construction and Design in Wood at the University of the Basque Country will use Garnica panels in their final projects.

For the third year, Garnica has renewed its partnership with the School of Architecture of the University of the Basque Country to develop its training programme in 2021/2022. Garnica’s involvement includes financial collaboration with the University and the supply of plywood panels for students of the Master's Degree in Structures, Construction and Design in Wood to use in their final projects.

This agreement, which is set to continue over the coming years, will allow master's students at the University of the Basque Country to learn about and gain access to highly innovative products that can be used in structural and construction design. This will help the students become familiar with the production and industrial processes of a material that plays a fundamental role in the circular economy.

Our company is proud to collaborate with this University and to promote the training and talent development of young people, as is also the case with our agreement with the University of La Rioja. This type of initiative is part of our commitment to continue growing in a responsible and sustainable way and supporting the development of the communities in which we operate, such as in the Basque Country, the location of our Maderas de Llodio factory.
