Once again Garnica supplies raw material for the 8th edition of the Concéntrico Festival
Read the featured articleThe Logroño International Festival of Architecture and Design focuses on the importance of sustainability in materials and construction processes.
Once again this year, Garnica donated around 500 panels from our sustainable plantations so that the participating architects and designers could create their artistic installations. As part of our commitment to sustainability, the panels provided are made entirely from poplar, pine and eucalyptus, species from local plantations that are beneficial for the environment and for the development of rural areas.
This action is part of our commitment to contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of the areas where we operate and to help create more sustainable living spaces.
Architecture and design are increasingly present in the minds of citizens. For this reason, the new edition of Concéntrico organised the festival in a more fun and informative way through installations, exhibitions, meetings and activities, aimed at sparking discussions about the urban environment and the city.
As regards the urban installations, national and international artists worked to flood the capital of La Rioja with art and culture through a range of creations across the entire city, with the participation of Konstantin Grcic, Matali Crasset, Izaskun Chinchilla, Associates Architecture, Piovenefabi, Tudor Vlăsceanu, SKULL Studio, Germane Barnes, Rintala Eggertsson Architects, BudCud, Tableau, Yemail Arquitectura, Pawel Grobelny, Inventaires#3, Dallas & Pool is cool, AAA, Ander López + Sarai Olabarrieta, Collective X and the invited schools with Gonzalo Herrero & Pati Santos - Central Saint Martins and Clara Alonso, Marta Basterra and Mikel Aguerrea - Escuela Superior de Diseño de La Rioja (La Rioja School of Design).
