The International Architecture and Design Festival, held in Logroño, focuses on the importance of sustainable materials and construction processes.

Again this year, Garnica donated around 500 panels from our sustainable plantations for participating architects and designers to make their artistic installations. In the framework of our support for sustainability, the supplied panels are made entirely of poplar, pine, and eucalyptus, species from local plantations that are beneficial to the environment and the development of rural areas.

This initiative is part of our commitment to contribute to the economic, social, and cultural development of areas where we carry out our activities, creating more sustainable living spaces.

Citizens are increasingly taking note of architecture and design. Consequently, the new edition of Concéntrico organized the festival to be more recreational and informational through installations, expositions, encounters, and activities, with the goal of reflecting on the urban environment and the city.

In the urban installations plan, national and international artists have worked to flood the Riojan capital with art and culture through diverse creations in different areas throughout the city, featuring participation by Konstantin Grcic, Matali Crasset, Izaskun Chinchilla, Associates Architecture, Piovenefabi, Tudor Vlăsceanu, SKULL Studio, Germane Barnes, Rintala Eggertsson Architects, BudCud, Tableau, Yemail Arquitectura, Pawel Grobelny, Inventaires#3, Dallas + Pool is cool, AAA, Ander López + Sarai Olabarrieta, and Collective X, as well as invited schools with Gonzalo Herrero + Pati Santos – Central Saint Martins and Clara Alonso, Marta Basterra, and Mikel Aguerrea – Escuela Superior de Diseño de La Rioja (La Rioja School of Design).
