Niels Boelema is Garnica’s CCO, reporting to the CEO, Álvaro González.

Niels has over 25 years of experience in the global wood-based panel industry. He was appointed Garnica Group CCO in February 2023. Until that time, he held commercial senior management positions in both purchasing and sales. He was Continental Sales Director at MediteSmartPly, an Irish OSB and MDF panel manufacturer. Before this Niels was leading the Purchasing Department for panels of Deli Maatschappij, a market leading group of Dutch timber- and panel distribution companies (now part of TABS Holland).

Among his reasons for joining Garnica are its exceptional innovative character, together with its superb green credentials and strong marketing activities. Niels wants to further enhance the customer focus of the company, in order to create more true value and expand existing and create new strategic partnerships with customers.

Niels holds an MSc in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
