Niels Boelema is Garnica’s CCO, reporting to CEO Álvaro González.

Niels has over 25 years of experience in the global wood-based panel industry. He was appointed Garnica Group CCO in February 2023. Until then, he held commercial senior management positions in purchasing and sales. He was Continental Sales Director at MediteSmartPly, an Irish OSB and MDF panel manufacturer. Prior to that, Niels led the panel Purchasing Department at Deli Maatschappij, a leading group of Dutch timber and panel distribution companies (now part of TABS Holland).

Among his reasons for joining Garnica are its exceptionally innovative character, superb green credentials, and strong marketing. Niels wants to further enhance the company’s customer focus to create more true value and expand existing and new strategic partnerships with customers.

Niels holds an MSc in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
