Garnica continues to promote sports by supporting the Rioja Deporte Foundation

At Garnica, we are committed to the social and economic development of the regions in which we operate. That is why, for the third year in a row, we have renewed our collaboration with the Rioja Deporte Foundation, a public institution of the Government of La Rioja, created in 2004 with the aim of promoting sports development in the region.

The Foundation, through the Rioja Sports Promotion Plan, has various sports training programs, awards grants to high-performance athletes, promotes and encourages school games, advises and provides financial assistance to federations and sports clubs, organizes events, conducts medical check-up programs for athletes, and, in short, promotes sports activities in the Rioja region.

In 2022, the Foundation also arranged visits for Riojan schoolchildren to the Palacio de los Deportes, held an Integrity and Safety in Sports day with LaLiga, and hosted the traditional Rioja Sports Gala, which we attended. We will repeat these activities this year since, as part of our agreement with the Foundation, we continue to support athletes, clubs, and federations with sports advising, in addition to maintaining a program to support social initiatives in sports for minors at risk of exclusion or people with disabilities.

Therefore, through this partnership, we not only promote the development of La Rioja, where our headquarters and three of our production centers are located, but we also contribute to promoting healthy habits through sports, both within and outside our organization.
