Garnica once again supports the fight against cancer during the 8th Women’s Race

Garnica once again participated, along with various local companies, in the 8th Women’s Race in Logroño in support of breast cancer research. Eleven thousand women joined as participants this year, organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer and sponsored by the Government of La Rioja and the City of Logroño.

Here at Garnica, we are proud to have surpassed our previous registration record with a total of 85 registered women employees, inasmuch as the registration fees are donated towards funding for cancer research. Thanks to this contribution, the La Rioja AECC (the Spanish Association Against Cancer, in English) can provide financial scholarships and research projects. Likewise, the AECC thanks all the participants for their efforts and enthusiasm in a race that we expand every year since today’s research becomes tomorrow’s medicine, providing hope for many.
